Discover the World of Info Tech is presenting its 13th annual day of interactive workshops focusing on careers in Information Technology.
Highschool students participate in hands-on sessions about computer animation, web programming and computer hardware. These sessions are led by local professionals who are passionate about their work and who are excited to share their knowledge and expertise with youth.
The event promotes an education in math, science and information technology that lead to IT-related careers.
- 140 students from Kamloops, Vernon, Merritt, Salmon Arm, Gold Trail & Revelstoke School Districts.
- Approximately 60 Mentors!
Approximately 60 mentors will join a catered lunch where students have the opportunity to sit down with local business and IT professionals and engage in animated conversation. These professionals share their experiences with students and answer questions about their careers.
